From Tyler hide a sparrowhaw was seen predating a common snipe from one of the islands.

peregrine x 1 (flew over the Long Lake at 12p.m.), redwing x 20, mistle thrush x 6, bullfinch x 2, redpoll x 2, siskin x 5, goldfinch x 5, reed bunting x 2.

Also seen from the gate into the sheep field and therefore not strictly on the reserve: Merlin x 1(female), kestrel x 1, red kite x 1, sparrowhawk x 1.
