Dartford Ringing Group set up mist nets in the fishermen’s car park area and down to the goat paddock.

Interesting records of nesting species in this area: garden warbler x 1, blackcap x 3, chiffchaff x 1, dunnock x 3 and 1 fledged juvenile.

lapwing x 7 + chicks reported (though not confirmed), swallow x 4, nuthatch x 2, goldfinch x 2,
