     With the wind in a North Westerly direction it was no surprise that there was an overhead movement of birds coming into the country that included 20 Meadow Pipits, 4 Rock Pipits, 240 Chaffinches, 2 Brambling, 2 Bullfinches, 12 Greenfinches and 60 Siskins.     A cold and strong NE restricted any migration on the land but there was a steady movement of birds offshore.
